So, Jameson Campbell — that’s an interesting name. What was it like growing up as the child of alcoholic heirs to an extensive soup empire?
I actually had to sign a non-disclosure agreement so as not to reveal any of that information until my semi-auto biographical book, based on the movie, comes out. The only thing I can reveal, I will reveal later in the interview.
We hear you’re part Chinese. Tell us, what exactly is in an egg roll? Also, I’ll have the number 7, extra garlic sauce.
This is indeed true. While I can’t exactly explain the structure of an egg roll, I can tell you they are rather good because 25% of my genetic code is strictly designed to enjoy them. Also, I was informed that will cost you extra.
Hmm. Might as well throw in some extra soy sauce too. Ok, so when is your birthday and what embarrassing thing about you can we ice on a cake?
14 days before Christmas. No embarrassing things please.
I’m sorry that, unfortunately is not an option. 14 days before Christmas, huh? We are going to save so much money only buying you one gift, thank your parents for us.

What brought you to 427 — besides the extravagant pay check, two day work weeks and supermodel assistants (we don’t have any of those things here, by the way)?
To be honest, the biggest draw was having the ability to work with a team of insanely talented people and knowing that I would be able to contribute to cool projects in web design, photography and screen printing. That of course, and the free snacks.
Aren’t you sweet. But to be really honest, it was mostly the free snacks, wasn’t it?
Of course.
Choose one: graphic design or coal mining. Why?
Graphic Design. To quote the great Derek Zoolander: “I think I’m getting the Black Lung, Pop.”
If you were casting “427 Design 2: Secret of the Ooze”, who would play you?

We notice you drink a lot of coffee, are we so boring that you need a constant supply of stimulants?
You guys have a coffee bean grinder that wasn’t really being used enough. Also Manders brought in Pumpkin Spice creamer.
We knew that was you that drank it all.

Do you have any advice for aspiring designers out there, currently admiring your skills coveting your job?
Be dedicated and find happiness in your work. Everything else is secondary.
Good advice. We wouldn’t even try to find a way to make fun of you about that if we wanted too. But, more importantly, who is your favorite Golden Girl, and why?
Betty White as Rose Nyland. As a kid I misunderstood that she wasn’t my grandma for years.
